A fictional factory with recognizable problems
The Dark Factory is a LinkedIn-originated comic series set at Northwind, a fictional manufacturer pursuing autonomous operations.
The series combines film-noir visual storytelling with operational and leadership satire. Each episode isolates one transformation failure mode: literal execution, suppressed escalation, ticket-driven bureaucracy, automated bad decisions, local optimization, or prediction without action.
No real company, logo, product, or identifiable corporate brand is represented.
